Trigg Shorts - Digital Sewing Pattern

The Trigg Shorts are a basic, casual pair of shorts finishing above the knee. They feature an elasticated waistband with a drawstring, side pockets and a back patch pocket. The shorts come in two different length options.

 Suggested Fabric:

Main fabric- Mid/heavy weight linen, hemp, tencel, chambray cotton, medium weight denim, board short fabric. Lining: Lightweight cotton

If you’re using a patterned fabric with a repeat that you’d like to match, you may need more fabric than what is suggested above. Use your discretion.

Ensure your fabric is washed and pre-shrunk before cutting.

Notions: 

Thread

2 sets of eyelets with an outside diameter of 1.2cm, and inner diameter of 0.7cm (optional- if not using buttonhole opening on waistband),

110cm to 190cm cord for drawstring (optional – can make own drawstring from fabric if preferred)

2 small patches of interfacing – 2cm by 2cm each

5cm width elastic: (knitted or woven elastic is recommended. Avoid braided elastic)

A – 68cm, B- 73cm, C – 78cm, D – 83cm, E – 88cm, F – 93cm, G- 98cm, H – 103cm, I – 108cm, J – 113cm, K – 118cm, L – 123cm, M – 128cm

This digital pattern comes with an illustrated set of instructions, a printing and assembling guide and two options for printing – a layered PDF file for printing at home, designed to fit both A4 and Letter sized paper. And a large format A0 PDF file to take to the copy shop if you’d prefer not to assemble multiple sheets.

Download and save these files to a desktop or laptop computer. Not suitable for smart phones and iPads unless you have the correct program to open a zip folder.
