FITTING NOTES:

This pattern was drafted for a height of 5 ft 7. It has two cup size options - B cup and a combined C/D cup.
To find your sewing cup size, measure your high bust and full bust. The
difference between the two measurements will tell you your size.

Eg: 2.5cm/1 inch difference = A cup
5cm / 2 inch difference = B cup
7.5cm / 3 inch difference = C cup
10cm / 4 inch difference = D cup and so on

If you’re between the B cup and C/D cup options, I’d try a toile with the B cup first.

This pattern has negative ease (the finished garment measurements are smaller than your body measurements). The top is designed to be fitted around the chest, but there is more ease factored into the waist. If you’d prefer a tighter fit around the waist, you may like to blend down to a smaller size in that region.

The structure and level of stretch of your chosen knit fabric will play a big part in how this garment fits!

I recommend making a toile first to work out any fitting alterations you may need, before cutting into your chosen fabric. Make sure the toile fabric is similar in weight/drape/stretch to your main fabric.

This layered PDF pattern comes delivered in a zip folder, with two illustrated set of instructions, a printing and assembling guide and two options for printing – a PDF file for printing at home, designed to fit both A4 and Letter sized paper (29 pages in total for each cup size).

And 2 large format A0 PDF files to take to the copy shop if you’d prefer not to assemble multiple sheets. (2 sheets per cup size, 4 sheets in total).

Download and save these files to a desktop or laptop computer. Not suitable for smart phones and iPads unless you have the correct program to open a zip folder.

This patterns is for personal use only. Not to be used for commercial purposes.
