Janzi Coat - Digital Sewing Pattern
The Janzi Coat is a fully lined, single-breast coat with a lapel and collar.
The top of the coat is fitted, with princess seams starting at the shoulder. These panels gently flare out from the waist and end at the calf. Featuring two piece sleeves, and welt pockets, this coat will be a satisfying sew.
Available in sizes A to N, with a B cup and a combined C/D cup option.
This pattern is for woven fabrics.
Suitable for intermediate/ advanced sewers.
Main fabric: Wool coating fabrics - tweed, bouclé, boiled wool, wool felt, wool blends
This pattern has been designed with heavier weight fabric in mind.
Lining fabric: Light weight woven fabrics - bemberg, silk, viscose, cotton lawn, polyester lining.
Please ensure your fabric is washed and pressed before cutting out your pattern pieces.

FITTING NOTES:
The top has two cup size options - a B cup and a C/D cup.
To find your sewing cup size, measure your high bust and full bust.
The difference between the two measurements will tell you your size.
5cm / 2 inch difference = B cup
7.5cm / 3 inch difference = C cup
10cm / 4 inch difference = D cup and so on
I highly recommend making a toile first to work out any fitting alterations you may need,
before cutting into your chosen fabric.
This layered PDF pattern comes delivered in a zip folder, with an illustrated set of instructions, a printing and assembling guide and two options for printing – a PDF file for printing at home, designed to fit both A4 and Letter sized paper (98 pages).
And 5 large format A0 PDF files to take to the copy shop.
