Reznor Skirt - Digital Sewing Pattern

Regular price $17.00 $0.00

The Reznor Skirt is high waisted, fitted knit skirt that finishes below the knee. View A has an
angled box pleat and an asymmetrical hemline, while View B has a flat front and a straight hemline. Both views contain lining with an internal elastic waistband.

Suitable for intermediate sewers and above.

Sizes Available:

A to M  - see size chart in images

This pattern has been drafted for a height of 5’7 and ends just below the knee.

It’s recommended to make a toile first in an inexpensive fabric to work out any fitting
alterations you may need, before cutting into your chosen fabric.

Finished Garment Measurement:

See chart in images.

Suggested Fabrics:

Medium / Heavy weight knit fabrics with good drape and recovery. I’d recommend 220 GSM weight and above.
Look for opaque knits (ones that don’t go see through when you stretch them out)
30% stretch and above.

If you’re using stretch fabric with quite a high level of stretch (50% and above), you may need to go down a size.

Please note: If you’re using a patterned fabric with a repeat that you’d like to match, you may need more fabric than what is suggested above. Use your discretion.
Ensure your fabric is washed and pressed before cutting.

Notions:

 - Matching thread to your fabric.

- 1 inch / 2.5cm wide elastic : Size A - 52cm, B - 57cm, C - 62cm, D - 67cm, E - 72cm,
F- 77cm, G- 82cm, H -87cm, I - 92cm, J - 97cm, K - 102cm, L - 107cm, M - 112cm

These elastic measurements are just a suggestion, you may want more or less.

*You can use elastic wider than 1 inch / 2.5cm. But I would not recommend using
anything thinner. Heavier knit fabrics need a stronger elastic.

This digital pattern comes with an illustrated set of instructions that includes the size chart and finished measurement guide, a printing and assembling guide,  and two options for printing – a PDF file for printing at home, designed to fit both A4 and Letter sized paper (52 pages). And a large format A0 PDF file (3 pages) to take to the copy shop if you’d prefer not to assemble multiple sheets.

This is a layered PDF - you can choose to view and print only the size/s you need.

These files are to be opened and saved on desktop or laptop computers- not suitable for smart phones or tablets.

This pattern is for personal use only. Not to be used for commercial purposes.
