Sanders Button Up - Digital Sewing Pattern

The Sanders Button up is a semi fitted button up shirt suitable for intermediate sewers and above.

The back has gently shaped panels running down the waist, as well as an enclosed yoke with a hanging loop. The front features a yoke with inseam pockets. View B has the option for additional pocket flaps. It includes a separate button stand on the front and is finished with a subtly curved hem.

View A and B have full length sleeves complete with placket closures and cuffs, while View C is a short sleeve option

This pattern has been drafted for a height of 5’10 (177.5cm).

It’s recommended to make a toile first in an inexpensive fabric to work out any fitting alterations you may need, before cutting into your chosen fabric.

Suggested Fabrics: 

Soft cotton shirting, mid weight washed linen, woven hemp blends, lightweight denim, flannelette

Please note: If you’re using a patterned fabric with a repeat that you’d like to match, you may need more fabric than what is suggested. Use your discretion.

Ensure your fabric is washed and ironed before cutting.

This pattern comes with an illustrated set of instructions that includes the size chart and finished measurement guide, a printing and assembling guide,  and two options for printing – a PDF file for printing at home, designed to fit both A4 and Letter sized paper (46 pages). And a large format A0 PDF file (3 pages) to take to the copy shop if you’d prefer not to assemble multiple sheets.

Download and save these files to a desktop or laptop computer. Not suitable for smart phones and iPads unless you have the correct program to open a zip folder.
