Smith Hoodie - Digital Sewing Pattern

The Smith Hoodie is a classic design with elasticated hems, kangaroo pockets and a
drawstring hood. View A is a pullover style and View B has a zipper front.

This pattern is for knit/stretch fabrics.

Suitable for beginners and above.

Suggested Fabrics:

Sweatshirt material, french terry, knit fabric with atleast 20% stretch.

Fabric Usage

For 150cm wide fabric (1.6yds / 60in)

Sizes A to H: 200cm (2.2yds / 78in)

Sizes I to M: 215cm (2.4yds / 84in)

If you’re using a patterned fabric with a repeat that you’d like to match, you may need more fabric than what is suggested above. Use your discretion.

Ensure your fabric is washed and pre-shrunk before cutting.

Notions:

- Thread

- 120cm - 140cm (47in - 55in) cord, shoelace or drawstring for the hood.

- 2 sets of 5.5mm eyelets (optional, you can sew buttonholes instead)

- 2 small patches of light/midweight fusible interfacing

- View B only - 66cm / 67cm (26in) open ended zipper

- 105cm - 170cm (41in -67in) of 25mm (1in) wide elastic. 

- Optional, View B - 80cm (32 in) of 1cm (3/8 in) wide cotton twill tape for the neckline

This digital pattern comes with an illustrated set of instructions, a printing and assembling guide and two options for printing – a PDF file for printing at home, designed to fit both A4 and Letter sized paper (32 pages). And a large format A0 PDF file to take to the copy shop if you’d prefer not to assemble multiple sheets (2 pages).

This PDF pattern is layered.
